Once upon a time a man had heard, that in a foreign place, far away, there was a holy flame burning. So he got up and left his home to find the holy flame and bring some of its light back home to his house. He thought, 'When I have this light, then I will have happiness and life and all the people I love will have it too.'
He travelled very far and finally found the holy flame, with which he lit his light. On his way back he had only one worry: 'This light could go out'.
On his way home he met someone who was freezing and did not have any fire and who begged him to give him some of his fire. The man with the light hesitated for a moment. Wasn't his light too precious, too holy to be given away for something ordinary like that?
Despite his doubts, the man carrying the holy flame finally decided to give some of his light to the man who was freezing in the darkness.
The man then continued his journey home and when he had almost reached his house a terrible thunderstorm started. He tried very hard to protect his light from the rain and the storm, but in the end his light went out.
To return the long way back to the place where the holy flame was burning was impossible, he would not have had enough strength to go back this far...but he was strong enough to return to the man whom he had helped on his way home.
... and with that man's light he could light his own again.

I once rented an apartment. The rental for this apartment was unbelievably cheap, but yet I rented it. After staying there for sometime, I noticed the neighbouring people started looking at me in a funny manner, some were even whispering behind my back.
I felt curious. Finally one day I got hold of the guard and asked him for answers.
He told me: "Before you moved in, there lived a couple in the apartment. They were very loving, but one unsuspecting night the couple had a big argument, after that night the girl was never seen again. The guy vanished as well after having the apartment renovated."
The neighbours noticed that the guy would always scrub the walls late at night, and so they suspected that the gal had been murdered by the guy and was buried inside the wall. After hearing the story, I felt my spine tingling.
Upon returning to my dwelling, I searched the place thoroughly, finally I sat on the bed and noticed a peculiar wet spot on the wall. It looked more and more like a human shape, and the position the shape was in appeared to be a person trying to struggle out of there. I was so terrified that I went directly to bed.
I had a dream in the middle of that night, I dreamt the couple were having a big argument, and in his rage, the guy strangled the gal to death, he later buried the corpse inside the wall. I saw the gal's eyes were bleeding terribly, struggling inside the wall and screaming: "Let me out! Let me out!!!!" I was so terified that I
awoke from my sleep, I couldn't stand it anymore and so I started digging at the wall with a modified drill. I finally dug a small hole in the wall, after which I saw a pair of eyes staring at me.......
Oh my god, so it was true afterall......
Suddenly the pair of eyes turned into a mouth and started talking: Oi !...neighbour, why are you digging a hole in my wall!!?

A man wanted to enter an exclusive club but did not know the password that was required. He waited by the door and listened.
A club member knocked on the door and the doorman said, "twelve." The member replied, "six " and was let in.
A second member came to the door and the doorman said, "six." The member replied, "three" and was let in.
The man thought he had heard enough and walked up to the door. The doorman said ,"ten" and the man replied, "five." But he was not let in. What should he have said?
The man had to reply the number of characters (alphabets) in the word the Doorman was asking.
He should have replied "3" instead of "5".
