We woke up very late and rushed to eat breakfast. The tour guide waited for us at the lobby and bring us to a van and ahead to Doi Inthanon with the rest of the tour mates (2 from Malaysian, 2 from Singapore {us} and 1 from Dubai).
Along the way, the Dubai guy was sleeping comfortable at the last row of the van. And the 2 Malaysian guys were chatting with the tour guide name Nome. (Btw he seems super ‘C’.) They were chatting about those ‘guys’ pubs like Circle Pubs as they going there after the trip.
It was so cold up on the mountain {around 8 to 15 Degree Celsius. Different parts different temperature}. No one inform us need to bring jacket or sweater along and we all freezing thru out the journey. The Dubai guy lighted up a cigaretter once we reached. We were so tempted to get one cigarette from him to warm ourselves too. Lucky, up there got some shops selling hot drinks and we managed to warm ourselves after 10mins of walking and shivering.
Thereafter, we went to drop by at the Meo Hill Tribe Village and the very interesting 550 years old of Prathat Chom Thong Temple. We didn’t manage to see the twins’ paragon as too many fog. {Such a Disappointment!} Our last stop was on the way out of the 2 waterfalls: Wachira Tarn and Mea-Klang waterfalls. As the step is quite tough to walk, my slipper spoilt when I walked down from the mountain. And what i did was to bare foot for some distance. Lucky I managed to ‘repair’ the slippers before getting another pair of sandals at the night market which near my PornPing hotel which i was staying when I backed from the trip.
Doi Inthanon (
Thai: ดอยอินทนนท์) is the highest
mountain in
Thailand.
